We are recruiting for a flexible Deputy Manager to join our team.

This is a very different with a split role
Deputy Manager 10hrs x GBP10.22 + Support Worker 27.5hrs x GBP9.09

The Deputy Manager duties will be at our Pound Farm service at Ross on Wye HR9 7SL, with the Support Worker duties at Newent and St Mary's Court.

You will be supporting wonderful individuals both male and female with an age range of 18 to 65 with learning disabilities, therefore we are currently looking for positive and enthusiastic staff members.
You will need you to be able to be patient and understanding and able to work on your own initiative. You must be willing to support and encourage them to complete everyday tasks, including but not limited to personal care, emotional support, finances and supporting them with a variety of health appointments whilst also supporting them to develop new skills.
The people we care for are encouraged to follow their hobbies, for example listening to music, sightseeing, games, walking, visits out, being supported to make their own choices and decisions, and promoting independence.

About the role:
As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals who may have complex and challenging needs, requiring behavioural support while promoting their independence. No two days are the same and the support you provide, makes a huge difference to the individual you will be supporting, helping them to live full and happy lives
We are therefore looking for individuals with a kind and caring nature, who can engage with people at all levels, whether that be verbally or by other means of communication. You will need be to demonstrate the level of patience and understanding required to be successful in this role.
