Quality Systems Manager (Electro-mechanical products)

Up to GBP50,000 + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30
Quality Systems Manager required for a successful and well established company. This is an ideal role for those seeking a stable position in a market leading people focussed business. You'll be able to add value and be part of a driven management team.
To apply for the role, candidates must have experience leading a quality department with an understanding of electromechanical products. You need to demonstrate good working knowledge of CI tools and confident communicating to internal and external parties. You will lead a team of 3 people so the ability to inspire and delegate is key.
The role of the Quality Systems Manager is to manage quality across the business, liaising with all departments as required. You'll ensure performance, quality and delivery of the company's products and services remains high and always identifying areas for improvement. You'll ensure all quality procedures are implemented and improved throughout the organisation.
The company have a strong global presence operating in over 140 counties, employing 70 + staff at this site. You'll enjoy being part of a professional yet friendly team.
The Quality Systems Manager role in brief:
* Ensure all quality management systems are in place, adhered to and improved
* Suggest improvements using appropriate Lean tools
* Build relationships and work closely with all departments
* Lead a team of 3
* Investigate non-conformance and implement corrective action
* Management of internal and external audit schedule
The Person Required:
* Quality Management
* Ability to lead a small team
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to build strong relationships
* Strong organisational skills
* Able to lead and inspire others
* Strong IT skills particularly as Excel
* Candidate must have experience in approvals
