Estimator

My client, a construction company that specialise in building, renovation and maintenance services are seeking an Estimator to join them. The company are highly respected by domestic and commercial clients throughout the north of England and undertake a variety of projects from minor repairs to major renovations and refurbishments. The Estimator will also be heavily focusing on the insurance projects which is a sector that they have become renowned for.

The company themselves are based on the outskirts of Leeds so ideally are looking for an Estimator close to this area. This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join an established company that constantly secure new projects to ensure employees feel fulfilled and rewarded for their work.

Estimator - Position Overview

• Attend prospective client sites and undertake a full measure with accurate quantities to enable competitive quotation to be submitted.
• Complete bespoke estimates and scoped estimates to match client requirements
• Accurately price tender documents in line with client requirements and the submission of requested tenders on time and to the return deadlines.
• Complete take offs from tender drawings and complete BOQs when required
• Update company database with accurate information.
• Complete a risk assessment for all projects
• Assist with the final account process

Estimator - Position Requirements

• At least three years' experience within an Estimating position for a construction company
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Living within close proximity of Leeds
• Ideally experience operating on renovation and refurbishment projects

Estimator Position Remuneration

• Salary between GBP35,000 and GBP45,000
• 28 days including bank holidays
