We are working with a public sector client based in Oldham who are seeking an experienced Senior Estates Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities of the Senior Estates Officer include:

The efficient and effective management of professional Estates staff, admin and clerical and directly employed trade staff
The efficient and effective management of contractors including specialist contractors dealing with highly complex plant and equipment
Provide and responsive maintenance service to pre-determined time scales and standards
Be responsible for the performance of all estate engineering and building operations, ensuring the development and maintenance of the highest standards
Produce and manage the on call rotas for the Estates Officers and Trade Staff
Plan and organise engineering and building services shut downs or break ins for maintenance or new works
Support the Estates and Facilities General Manager in providing advice and initial design input in the preparation of capital schemes to deliver effective facilities, which minimise revenue costsCriteria of the Senior Estates Officer:

Required to have extensive, comprehensive knowledge of estates engineering services
HNC/Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Electric Engineering or Construction or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence
Availability for on-call duties (30 minute response time)Please apply now for an immediate start.
