With our expansion and rapid growth we have recently migrated to the latest SAP HANA ERP and along with it the full BI Suite (BW, HANA, Business Objects).
This successful applicant will be responsible for the redesign and restructuring of our current Data Architecture and carry out data modelling to meet the demands of the business and promote best practice across the Exertis Group.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and build a highly scalable data pipeline for diversified and complex data flows
Guide our BI Developers by setting technical directions and providing standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices
Influence our Analytical solution roadmap strategy and coordinate it with the architecture vision
Proactively identify gaps in data consumption and define processes to complete them
Work closely with tech teams on the design and implementation of data solutions.
Work closely with the business process team and be part of designing a new data model, which will support both Reporting and Analytical based use cases
Essential Requirements:
Experience with SAP HANA & BW
Data Modelling hands-on expertise
Experience with high-scale, high-volume relational databases, and SQL language
Frontend skills such as Qlikview & Power BI - Major advantage
BSc Computer Science/Data Management or equivalent
Experience with workflows and data processing pipelines
In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL/ELT framework
Experience:
At least 8 years of relevant experience as BI developer / BI designer / Data engineer
Strong knowledge of architecture best practices and design patterns
Proven experience of conducting technical workshops, presenting technical solutions, preparing architecture guidelines and technical strategy documents
Experience in designing complex, distributed, secure and scalable architecture solutions within complex organisations.
