Key duties include:
• providing an effective Human Resources administration service covering the full employment lifecycle,
• being the primary contact for all HR queries for the company,
• issuing and updating employee documentation including: recruitment and interviewing, contracts, sickness/absence, recruitment paperwork, new starter packs,
• reporting regularly on key HR metrics/KPI's - sickness/absence, staff turnover and workforce demographics,
• administration and co-ordination of the end-to-end recruitment process: uploading adverts to jobs boards, updating the website, arranging interviews, facilitating testing, job offers, references, DBS checks, right to work etc,
• minute taker at HR meetings.
Experience in HR administration and an understanding of HR processes is essential as is proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of employment law and legislation, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise with good interpersonal and communication skills and be an excellent team worker.
The position is currently a part-time role (16-20hrs per week) with flexible working hours and days to suit. The candidate will be based at our East Midlands office in Ilkeston.
