Job: Property Surveyor
Location: Blyth, Northumberland
Rate: GBP16 - GBP20 p/h
The Opportunity:
This public sector body require the services of a property surveyor who has excellent experience of carrying out condition and fabric surveys and has a keen eye for detail. On a daily basis you will be helping tenants improve their quality of life through solving disrepair issues , or helping them with home improvements.
The Role:
Carry out property surveys on the associations housing stock.
The main areas of focus will be to respond to tenants reports of dampness in their dwellings.
Administration of the tenants improvements scheme
Supporting the repairs and maintenance team
Daily inspections of properties and the ability to correctly identify defects
Schedules of rates
Working from a pre-defined list of approved home improvements, and working with tenants on realising these. About You
Experience with property surveys in the social housing sector
knowledge of damp proofing
Excellent report writing skills
Experience with disrepair claims
Experience of diagnosing building defects.Please only apply to this role if you are immediately available, and are able to commit to a minimum 3-6 month term
