Job Title: Operations and Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Pulloxhill

Salary: GBP24,000 - GBP26,000 (depending on experience)

Summary of Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Purchasing Coordinator to join our Client who specialise in window blinds and relate products. The Operations and Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the whole team of a small family run business to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Order Processing:

• Log projects on the CRM System
• Process sales orders via Excel spreadsheets
• Record all sales
• Create and update Excel 'Order Copy' workbook

• Confirm product specification including sending samples if necessary
• Send order confirmations
• Negotiate with suppliers for optimum deals
• Place orders for suppliers

Sales Support:

• Support the sales team with quotations
• Assist customers with orders and general queries
• Manage stock levels in the stock room

Office:

• Greet visitors on arrival
• Answer the Receptions phone calls

• Manage sub-contractor's diary and DBS checks
• Health & Safety management
• Facilities management

• Problem solve IT issues within the business
• Liaise with external IT support company to resolve issues
• Understand and manage IT systems - (CRM/Sales Process/Finance/Human Resources/Health & Safety)

Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:

• Experience working within a small business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A problem solver who is able to use their initiative
• Very strong IT skills & CRM experience (MS Office - especially Excel)
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task
• Customer focused
• Ability to work well in a team and, independently
