Fleet Technician
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking applications from individuals for the role of Fleet Technician within the Fleet, Engineering and Logistics Department based at Earlswood, relocating to Dafen, Llanelli in the coming months. Grade 6 £25,481 - £27,041 plus allowances*
The Role
The role will involve carrying out routine maintenance, along with mechanical, electrical and bodywork repairs of both HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to an agreed standard.
*On successful completion of the probationary period, there is also an additional allowance payable for the provision of out of hours cover, which will be required on a rota basis. The successful candidate will also be provided with a tool allowance.
Candidates should possess an LGV Licence.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week Monday - Friday.
