The Role

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Contract Manager to manage dedicated Soft FM Contracts in accordance with Contract agreement, client requirements and budget constraints. To lead the team to deliver a first-class service in line with Pinnacle Values, ethos and Service Delivery Strategy..

Duties/Key Responsibilities

•To encourage and empower the team to be their best and achieve their best

•To proactively seek and nurture talent within your team

•To be an effective communication channel between your team and other working disciplines.

•To set and manage personal development plans and quarterly performance reviews for all direct reports

•To escalate and manage underperformance in a timely and consistent manner in accordance to company capability procedure

•To monitor progress and quality of your team's outputs ensuring:

•Service levels are implemented and monitored

•Proactive auditing and supervision

•Action on all hotspot areas and senior management/client audits

•Effective workforce planning and shift cover

•Staff development, upskilling and cross-training

Duties Continued

•To carry out investigations and informal meetings in accordance with company procedure

•Identifying trends and escalating to your line manager

•Staffing levels and resource planning

•Recruitment, selection, probation and retention

•Onboarding, induction, training, objective setting and development plans

•Absence management including reporting, analysis and escalation.

•To be responsible for Contract compliance in terms of specification, KPIs and site-specific Health and Safety plans.

•To be responsible for local walkabouts and interface with residents/housing officers.

•To partake in formal client meetings and reporting in line with the agreed format.

•To implement change initiatives and keep up to date with legislation and best practices.

•To be responsible for optimising and overseeing operations to ensure efficiency using Workplace Management System.

•To partake in pricing new business and bid presentation as and when required.

•To assist your line manager with sub-contractor management

•To contribute accurate and timely data for corporate quality and environment initiatives

•To assist with the management of your Contract budget ensuring:

•Spend within budget

•Stock orders and stocktake are carried out accurately and on time

•Invoices are checked and logged

•Accurate data is maintained and available for audit

•Payroll base information is supplied to your line manager

•Corrective action is applied as set out by your line manager

Skills Required

•Relevant managerial experience, preferably in the public sector

•Ability to work calmly and authoritatively under pressure and to guide others' action

•Good team working skills in order to get the best form your colleagues' co-operation &ideas

•Proven administration skills with attention to details & accuracy

•Innate respect for confidentiality & correct application or procedures & protocols

•BISCS BICS/NVQ (or equivalent) in cleaning support services

•To be computer literate, fluent in the use of the internet, Word and Excel

•GCSE standard in Maths & English (or equivalent)

•Full Driving Licence

•Capability to analyse data and produce reports

•IOSH Managing Safely Qualification

•Fleet Management experience

•To be able to demonstrate the behaviours required as outlined in the Living the Values section of the Pinnacle Way booklet.
