Receptionist - Pharmacy
Monday to Friday (phone number removed)pm.
Salary: GBP22,500 per annum
The Company
The Private Pharmacy Group is a leading online pharmacy providing patients with prescriptions delivered to their homes. Operating from modern premises in Park Royal, we offer a fast and efficient service to our patients and medics, being able to provide support and advise quickly and effectively.
The Role
As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will work as part of a busy team working in the office supporting the pharmacist and Dispensing team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your work will include maintaining the reception/office area to a high standard as well as:
?? Answering a high volume of calls and dealing with enquiries appropriately and providing a high level of customer service.
?? Managing incoming/outgoing mail and couriers.
?? Maintaining office stock, first aid stock and cleaning supplies.
?? Performing any general clerical duties such as Inputting data accurately and efficiently onto an excel spreadsheet, updating the company directory, supporting on-going company projects and specific departmental requirements when required.
?? Assisting the dispensers and pharmacist as required during busy periods.
Training in all aspects of the role will be provided.
The Person - Skills and qualities required
Applicants must have outstanding people skills and be able to work using their own initiative. Previous experience in a similar receptionist role or customer service role is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have a professional proactive approach to work and an approachable manner.
Computer and IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel are also a must.
In addition, you will need good oral/telephone and written communication skills in English, be methodical in approach, able to demonstrate close attention to detail and concentrate for long periods of time.
An appreciation of customer needs and experience of working as part of a busy team to tight deadlines without losing focus are also essential.
Experience working in a pharmacy or doctors' surgery would be an advantage but is by no means essential.
