HR Assistant - 9-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave

Do you have experience providing a high standard of support within a busy HR environment? Are you interested in progressing your career in HR and working within a friendly team of HR professionals?

We are currently looking to recruit a HR Assistant on a fixed term basis, based in our Chester or Liverpool office supporting our offices in the North West (Chester, Liverpool and Preston) initially. You will assist our HR Advisors in delivering a professional, commercial and consistent HR service across offices in our central region. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience within HR.

Your responsibilities in the role will be varied and will include, but not limited to;

  • Co-ordination of recruitment
  • Provision of management information/analysis
  • Offering basic HR advice to line managers
  • Co-ordinating assessment centres
  • Reviewing offer letters
  • Managing the starters/leavers process
  • Monitoring probationary reviews
  • Managing the sickness absence recording and monitoring process
  • Assisting with benchmarking and research projects
