Stock Controller / Lancashire
GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 - Full time
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in stock control and buying for an established distribution SME.
Brief overview of the Stock Controllers duties:
* Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
* Raising purchases orders
* Track shipments and arrange haulage collections
* Booking in stock and addressing any issues
* Dealing with any returns to suppliers
* Coordinate regular stock takes for the business
* Ensure the purchasing processes and procedures are followed for goods in stock
Requirement for the Stock controller:
* Good communication and negotiation abilities
* Previous experience as a Stock Controller
* Good understanding of supply chain / purchasing / buying
* Prior experience of stock takes
* Good computer skills including Excel
