My client is looking for a Web Coordinator for an initial period of 3 months on a temporary contract basis. The role is fully remote.

The role is to work closely with their existing coordinator and within their web team to prioritise, manage and organise workload across the nine legacy websites and new single site.

The role will involve:

  • Traffic and stakeholder management
  • Manage the day-to-day workload of incoming publishing tasks to the ten council websites, including prioritisation and stakeholder engagement to set and manage expectations across the organisation
  • Review and prioritise incoming requests from across the organisation into the helpdesk
  • Allocate workload to the web publishers and ensure that deadlines are met
  • Reschedule work based on new or changing priorities - reacting quickly and efficiently to changing priorities and provide clear communication
  • Manage the team's daily schedule, report on daily status and workloads and escalate issues to the Delivery Manager promptly
  • Take ownership of day-to-day issues with workload, stakeholder management and problem solving to ensure processes are followed, deadlines are met, and the reputation of the team is maintained
  • Maximise the effectiveness and impact of web content by proofreading and publishing core content if and when required and advising colleagues on digital communications best practice

I am looking for someone who is immediately available with a familiarity with web content management systems, web best practice experience and resourcing experience within a high volume and fast moving environment. You must be great at working with demanding and complex stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

If you are available immediately and interested please apply online or contact Jo Aldred at Reed Marketing & Creative for more details.
