Sales Executive/Account Manager - Groundwork Steel Reinforcement
The company:
My client are a well-known brand and leading business within the construction industry synonymous for exceptional quality and customer service levels.
The company is developing fast with significant expansion in 2019/2020 creating the opportunity for an additional Sales Executive at our Wickford division. We are looking for talented, passionate people to continue to drive the business forward.
The company USP is to provide the 'best customer service' in the steel reinforcement and accessory industries.
This position is therefore paramount in delivering this business promise. The successful candidate will need to have a solid background working in a busy sales environment and a proven track record in building strong relationships with new and existing account customers.
The successful individual must be committed to excellent customer service.
The job:
- Meet sales targets within expected gross profit percentage margins
- Promote team spirit
- Taking telephone, email and trade counter enquiries
- Pricing and negotiate quotations
- Source, control and follow up on all new leads.
- Ensure correct handling of customers.
- Raise Purchase Orders
- Liaise with production and transport
- Raise company profile by conducting presentations/meetings with existing and potential customers.
- Meet customers regularly (either at their office or site) to build relationships.
- Suggest sales advertising and social media content.

The candidates must be a bright, determined, confident and enthusiastic with excellent business sense and work ethic, exceptional communication, and people skills. We expect you to have experience in a sales driven environment, and will be required to prove you were successful.
