Our client are one of the largest waste management companies in the UK. They are seeking an individual looking to become a skilled mobile plant operator to join their team.

This role will include the company funding all training for the right candidate to become a fully qualified certificated Mobile plant operator.

The below sets out the expectations once all NPOR tickets are completed.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00-17;00 / 45hours per week
Pay: GBP22000 - GBP22000 per annum training wage.
first year salary after tickets achieved GBP26500

Please Note: This site is in the village of Mortimer - 7.7 miles away from Reading.

Essential candidate requirements:
-Experience in operating, maintaining and hold plant operator's licenses for loading shovel machinery - ideally to NVQ/QCF level 2 standard.
-Previous experience in using loading shovel, dumpers and 360?? excavators in a similar environment - ideally holding valid certified tickets.

Main Responsibilities:
-To operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager in a correct and safe manner.
-To carry out repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager.
-To ensure that all plant and machinery on site is operated and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers' written instructions and the Company's prescribed schedules.
-Only to operate plant for which he has been authorised in writing by the Quarry Manager.
-To cover for the Foreman or Weighbridgeman in their absence as directed by the Quarry Manager.
-To move to other locations including Landfill Sites on a temporary or permanent basis as requested.
-To undertake on site and external training as requested.
