You may not have heard of us, but we're sure you've tried our products because we supply food for the all the major supermarkets in the UK.
Here in Boston we employ around 400 colleagues and produce ready to eat salads, prepared vegetables and snacks for many of the major retailers such as Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar and BOL.
As a Production Operative you will be working on the production line, ensuring products are manufactured to customer specification. A degree of flexibility will be required as there will be the potential to work in other departments based on the needs of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality and weight of ingredients are right for each product, reporting any issues to your team leader. You will have a right first time approach and a flexible approach to working.

The Ideal Candidate
Good level of English & Math - you will be required to follow processes and complete paperwork - as well as ensuring the correct quantities are used in each batch.
Ideally experience in a chilled food manufacturing. environment, but this isn't mandatory - other FMCG backgrounds will be considered.
Attention to detail.
Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Right first-time approach.
Ability to multi-task & adaptability - we are looking to train operators cross functionally to support in other areas where & when necessary, so the ability to adapt and a willingness to learn is essential.About The Company
