Digital Project Lead

My client is hiring a Digital Project lead for a 6 month Temporary Position with possible extension. The possible is full-time hours (40 hours per week).

The Post holder will be based in Exeter, but with travel as required to locations supported by the organisation.

The offers an hourly rate of GBP15.57

Job Summary:

The post holder will provide project management support for the delivery and implementation of projects within the Digital workstream, working closely with the Head of IT, as well as support the PMO to manage the day to day provision of a comprehensive, efficient and focused PMO.

This will involve close working with key digital workstream leads, SMT and project teams within the Group and may also include working with external stakeholders.

The post holder will support several projects for the PMO team whilst being responsible for implementing and managing relevant PMO systems and processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

To manage, monitor and review existing and new projects and functions as agreed. Co-ordinate projects, including defining objectives, developing project plans, establish and maintain project files, action planning and co-ordination of work, highlight reports, project meetings and escalating areas of concern to the Head of PMO
Work autonomously and act on own initiative to assist PMO by monitoring and chasing progress of on-going projects to ensure that deadlines are met
Support the Workstream Leads in all aspects of the project and change work from initiation to implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
Prioritise and manage workload accordingly to ensure such all deadlines and targets are consistently met

Essential requirements:

Experience in Project Management, or relevant experience
Full driving licence
Experience of project management documentation and processes, preferably PRINCE2
Demonstrable experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team environment
Experience of change management and change controls
Working on projects and implementation
Multi-agency working to deliver joint projects
Understanding of change control and project management
Delivering within tight deadline
Significant administrative experience including initiating and maintaining office systems
Proven experience of using general office IT systems and an advanced user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
