About the Digital Insight Analyst role:
This is a brand-new role and a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Insight Analyst who wants to learn, expand their skill set, and has a passion for all things data. Here are some of the day-to-day work tasks/projects that the role will require:
* Analyse customer data based on business direction whilst taking the initiative to go the extra mile and make suggestions on how the data can be more useful and valuable.
* Work closely with key stakeholders within the Marketing team to identify trends and customer needs.
* Maintain and build upon our customer analytics tool (Power BI) with internal stakeholders to further enhance and develop the tool.
* Write ad hoc SQL scripts when the business needs specific data sets for promotions, surveys, Insights etc.
* Picking apart and understanding the inner workings of Adobe Analytics in order to enhance the power of the data it holds.
* Working with the Senior Digital Analyst to consolidate all data within the business to achieve one source of truth.
* Comfortable with pulling and combining data through API's.
* Be a champion of analytics within the business with the aim to maintain and build a 'run the numbers first' attitude within the business.
And now a bit about you:
* Minimum of three years of experience in customer analytics Ideally, in an online retail environment.
* Proven ability to analyse and communicate concepts that drive actions and outcomes.
* Comfortable working with and manipulating large data sets.
* Solid technical understanding.
* Hands-on experience in using Power BI and SQL and Adobe analytics.
* A questioning and curious mind!
* Someone who demonstrates a never-give-up attitude.
* Having the personality to persevere when something is seemingly Impossible.
* unfazed by lots of data coming from various systems.
* Understands where the value of data is.
