Quality Safety & Reliability Test Engineer (Electrical/Electronic)

Quality Safety & Reliability Test Engineer required for a successful and well established electrical/electronic manufacturing company. This is an ideal role for those seeking a stable position in a market leading people focussed business. You'll be able to add value and be part of a driven team.
The successful will have high competency in electrical and analogue for both evaluating / qualifying new designs and fault finding on both production and new design products. You will also be required to have full understanding of electronic and electrical test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, multi meters, PAT testers, tester, data loggers, Optical and thermal test equipment. A degree or equivalent is preferred in Electronics.
The role of the Quality Safety & Reliability Test Engineer is to work on existing products and support new design projects. You will evaluate customer returns and produce relevant reports. The role is office based and hands on, you will design and build test equipment and assist in building prototypes. The role involves working closely with all relevant departments.
The company have a strong global presence operating in over 140 counties, employing 70 + staff at this site. You'll enjoy being part of a professional yet friendly team.
The Quality Safety & Reliability Test Engineer role in brief:
*Evaluating / qualifying new designs
*Fault finding on both existing and new design products
*Carry out tests and reliability checks
*Ensure all products are fit for purpose and meet product specifications
*Build relationships and work closely with all departments
The Quality Safety & Reliability Test Engineer Person Required:
*Degree or equivalent in Electronics
*Electrical and analogue experience
*Experience of electronic and electrical test equipment
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to build strong relationships
*Strong organisational skills
