InfoBlox Consultant/Engineer/SME- City of London/home working

InfoBlox Consultant/Engineer/SME: DNS, DHCP and IP address management platforms, required for a professional services engagement tasked with the design, configuration and deployment of InfoBlox appliances and solutions. You will be working with the consultancy arm of our business with a Statement of Work (SOW) and Milestone deliverables outside of IR35.

To be successful in this role, the person must be a team player as well as an individual contributor. Whether working independently or as part of a team, individuals in this role must be able to successfully complete deliverables and meet or exceed expectations within designated timeframes, as defined by a project plan. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation of excellent technical skills enhanced by a clear devotion to serving and satisfying customers.

The Client has a requirement, on behalf of their End-Customer, to build and deliver a new InfoBlox solution that will enable DNS and DHCP services to be deployed in four regions, UK, Italy, US and Singapore with satellite offices connecting to these core sites. Each region will have the solution deployed in primary and secondary data centres ( DC').

In order to facilitate this project, the Client will provide Project Management services and Network engineering consultancy services to support the Customer with the work against the stated deliverables.

Skills & Requirements:

BSc or equivalent degree with more than 8+ years of application development or integration experience

3+ years' experience deploying/managing DNS/DHCP in a corporate enterprise environment

Deep knowledge of DNS and DHCP protocols

Experience and understanding DNS and DHCP implementation on UNIX

Experience with InfoBlox or other IPAM products (VitalQIP or similar)

Thorough knowledge of writing and using Perl

Strong communication skills, including both oral and written in English are a must

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal groups (Professional Services, Engineering, Sales) as well as with customers

Proven experience to work as part of a team of Engineers and to deliver one or several projects simultaneously

Self-starter and able to work independently, while also able to share responsibilities, ideas and other information

Location: City of London/home working

Start date: September 2021

Contract length: 3 months +

Rates: Outcome based and competitive, Outside of IR35
