We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

  • Lead, develop and motivate the team in the finance function - both the group team and across the divisions to enhance their The overall development of the team and the promotion of a performance culture are important aspects of the role.
  • Ensure that there are processes in place within the finance function to identify and develop high potential individuals and to provide for succession planning for key positions in finance.
  • Leading change for the function along with the divisional CFOs across the entire group .
  • Be the finance leader across the group to shape and implement its finance strategy.

Commercial Performance

  • Driving the commercial performance of the group through best practice FP&A processes people and systems as well as developing and rolling out a commercially focused business partnering model for the entire finance organisation.
  • Work with the group executive team to continue to evolve the KPIs used in the business to ensure that they are both measuring and optimising the operational performance across the entire group .

Operational

  • Responsible for the financial integrity of the information reported to the group.
  • Develop and improve financial planning, analysis and forecasting within the division and to group.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the required high level of effective controls, given the scale and continued growth of the organisation. In addition, all aspects of compliance, including financial, regulatory, commercial and tax.
  • Work closely with the Group Executive to support the analysis of and shape the strategy for the group as well as the individual divisions . The strategy will grow the profitability of th e group both organically and by acquisition while maintaining discipline on its returns.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

Experienced Finance Director

  • Minimum 10 years post qualification experience with a track record of rapid progression and already operating at senior level. Has held a senior role ideally in a larger multinational , matrixed, multi-site operation.

Commercial and customer focus


  • Spent considerable part of career to date in a competitive and dynamic sector, ideally within a sales, marketing and manufacturing focused business. Has contribute d directly to the overall business strategy by work ing with the senior management team on commercial issues.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects including integration experience. Experience should include people, systems and processes.

Leader of talent and performance


  • Successful track record in leading, developing and motivating a high performing team. Can demonstrate p assion and commitment with high personal integrity and a practical, pragmatic and hardworking ethic.
