Project Engineer - Manager
Nottingham
Salary - up to GBP45k DOE
Optima are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer/Manager to join a successful organisation based in Nottingham.
As a Project Engineer; you'll project manage, plan, co-ordinate and oversee the build of bespoke machinery and purchase of new equipment in line with the organisation's future growth plans.
The Role
Leading the planning and implementation of projects
Defining a project's scope and goals
Planning and scheduling project timelines
Coordinating project staff and stakeholders
Resource planning and allocation
Quality assurance
Managing project administration, including all documentation
Meeting budgetary objectives
Reporting regularly to Management and stakeholders
Managing client relationships
Tracking project performance
Project evaluations and results measurement
The Candidate:
APM/PRINCE2 Qualification
Leading major capital expenditure projects at values greater than GBP0.5M
5 years plus experience of leading projects
Good communication
Ability to engage well with stakeholders
Good organisational skills
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Degree or HNC/D Project Management/Engineering
Experience related to Precision Engineering/Components is preferred
