Duties:
Undertake fee-earning caseload whilst providing a profitable contribution to the residential conveyancing department.
Develop business opportunities for the firm in line with the business plan.
Conduct matters on behalf of clients, progressing these whilst complying with the SRA Code of Conduct, GDPR and Solicitors Account Rules.
Assist with supervision of fee earning work undertaken by colleagues.
Management of support services including supervision of secretarial support.
Participation in marketing activities and promote services whether for the firm, department or office.
Financial control of client matters with particular regard to collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
Maintenance of caseload lists, ensuring closure of completed matters.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of three years post qualified experience and be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and technical expertise in residential conveyancing matters.
Must have excellent levels of customer service skills including communication and negotiation.
Must have excellent organisation skills and close attention to detail.
Must be positive, innovative and be able to work well on own initiative or as part of a team.
Salary: GBP25 - GBP45,000 per annum, pro rata, dependent upon experience and qualifications
