The Data Analyst is responsible for providing data for the Commercial Manager and Oracle Project Team. The main areas of focus are to support the Oracle Project team with information and extraction from Exchequer into Oracle. Specialist areas will include working on complexed Bill of Material (BOM) and raw material cost, working with complexed spreadsheet's to extract data. The Data Analyst will be required to support System migration and implementation this also require extensive user acceptance testing.

The Data Analyst may be asked to assist the development and deployment of high quality in-house reporting and have the capability to provide strong critical insight to deliver significant business benefits. Further responsibility will include generating reports for our Senior Management team, Finance, Operations and HR functions to provide strategic overviews of future trends and performance challenges. This will require working with various BI portals to produce reports.

Competency Requirement:

1) Able to use Excel at advanced level

2) Hands on Experience in a data migration role migrating into Oracle

3) Data conversion

4) Running and developing test scripts

5) UAT Testing

6) System migration / implementation experience

7) Experience of working within a data driven environment

8) Manufacturing process knowledge

9) Oracle experience

10) Commercial awareness

11) Ability to work to a Project Plan

12) Excellent numeracy and analytical skills

13) Able to prioritise and plan effectively

14) Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with a well-structured and analytical approach to reporting

15) Ability to write and manage bespoke reports

16) Proven experience with ERP platforms

Responsibilities and Duties:

1) Working with Oracle Project team on various project

2) Gather business requirements for data migration needs

3) Carry out testing a present to Senior management team

4) Covert Raw material excel databases into Build of Material data for Oracle

5) Supporting Commercial Reports

6) Communicate status, risks, and progress on an ongoing basis to the project team

7) Running system upgrades, rebuilds etc.

8) Monitoring of system performance and security, invoking appropriate remedial action as necessary

9) Presenting data in PowerPoint for senior management teams

10) Assisting staff with hardware issues (including PCs, printers and AV equipment)

11) Assisting Completing monthly sales data analysis

12) Liaising with external IT support to implement and maintain software and hardware including back ups

13) Complete all assignments / activities requested e.g. by Line Manager and / or Grand Avenue Software, in a timely manner.

14) Supporting the line manager with ad hoc data to support tender submissions.

15) Support and Upload of bulk new product codes.

16) Supply data for New Product Tracker, Export and SPIFF
