Service Manager - Automotive

We are recruiting for Service Manager to work for a very successful main dealer (automotive) in the Gravesend, Kent area. The role of the Service Manager is to drive the growth and profitability of the Service department, through effective leadership of the Service team members. To maintain customer loyalty by providing outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Duties:

• Managing the performance of the Service Department to ensure that KPIs are achieved;
• Managing Service to ensure that targets with the Brand partners are being met. Daily production of the DOC. Reviews of the Service department, including but not limited to examples such as regular stock reviews, site displays/general housekeeping, online and off-line, lead times, down time management and warranty;
• Managing and coordinating Service vehicle health check associated sales to drive performance;
• Managing compliance to Brand standards, AMG and legislative compliance, including auditing of job cards as per requirements;
• To ensure all warranty work is processed promptly and efficiently in-line with the manufacturers guidelines;
• To effectively control all areas of expenditure within your remit, minimizing and eliminating any areas of wastage
• Managing AMG and legislative compliance, including auditing of job cards as per requirements;
• Effectively recruiting and inducting new members of the Service team;
• Setting goals and objectives for the Service team members that are clear and understood;
• Coaching and development to drive the performance of the Service team members, including regular one-to-ones and appraisals in line with the company cycle;
• Robust utilization of the CRM database and other digital systems;
• Effectively managing debt in line with Group agreed process and standards;
• Working in collaboration with the Sales/Service department to ensure the cohesive running of the site;
• Managing the customer experience to achieve and maintain a high level of satisfaction
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager

Basic salary GBP45k with an on target earnings of GBP55k, plus company car.
