Cooper Lomaz are looking to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant for our client, a Professional Licensing Authority in the Cambridgeshire area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced systems accountant to enhance their career with a well known, professional organisation.
In this role you will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the on-going administration and maintenance of finance systems (including general ledger, financial planning and analysis tools, banking software and other finance-related applications). This is an integral role, where you will provide input to organisational projects that have a direct impact on finance systems and processes, liaising effectively with colleagues across the RSC with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
A key understanding of accounting concepts, and interest in IT will enable you to learn and adapt to new IT systems and techniques.
Key Requirements include:
A good working knowledge of financial ledger systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) including purchase to pay and financial planning systems, to complete routine day to day set up and maintenance procedures and resolve user queries.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, with specific emphasis on Excel.
Extensive experience in accounting related roles, demonstrating a good understanding of double-entry accounting and accounting cycle requirements.
