Rare and exciting opportunity to carry out COVID testing at Silverstone, in support of Formula 1!
In this initial 6 months fixed term contract, you will join a leading global laboratory providing an onsite COVID testing service to the F1 racing teams at Silverstone.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing samples for the presence of COVID-19 RNA across a range of specialist techniques and technologies
* Ensuring good laboratory practice is followed
* Monitoring stock levels
* Performing housekeeping duties including sample archiving/disposal and maintenance of equipment
Technical Skills required:
* A science degree
* Sound knowledge of PCR technology
* Previous experience in a regulated environment is preferred
As a pivotal member of a close-knit team of Analysts, you will initially be working on a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern, covering 12 hour day shifts. Please note, this shift pattern may change in future to include night shifts, for which you will receive a generous shift allowance.
