Lifeguard/Leisure Attendant - Leading University

We are recruiting for an amazing Leisure industry job in Oxford. For all the lifeguards out there, this is a Leisure job not to be missed! We are looking for a full-time Lifeguard/Sports Assistant to join the Sports Department team at the World's Leading University. As a Lifeguard your passion for swimming and love of great customer service will shine through when supervising the pool. You must be reliable, friendly and willing to learn, always adhering to the highest of standards. When you are not supervising the pool, you will also support the Operations team in keeping the gyms, sports halls and multi-purpose rooms clean and tidy. This is a perfect role for an individual currently working as a lifeguard that is looking for a new opportunity or a newly qualified lifeguard looking for their first opportunity in the leisure industry.
The successful candidate will ideally hold an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), but if your qualification has expired there may be a potential for a course to be provided for the right candidate.
Working hours are an average of 36.5 per week over a well-balanced 2-week shift pattern. There may also be opportunities for additional pay for taking on temporary additional responsibilities.
Owing to the nature of these positions, any offer of employment with the University will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
