Smile Wisdom are working with this small independently owned group of practices to find the perfect fit for a Full Time or Part Time Trainee Dental Nurse. This role is to work across the practie and with the Dentist to ensure that all visitors get the best possible service.To fully integrate into the group quickly.
Duties Include
?? Full Set-up and prepare the treatment room followed by decontamination
?? Prepare the necessary materials and instruments, making sure that equipment and instruments are in good working order and maintained regularly in accordance with practice policy.
?? Assist in taking radiographs (according to your level of training)
?? Liaise with reception over appointments for each patient.
?? Escort patients from the waiting room to the surgery
?? Provide chair side support to the dentist, hygienist or therapist during treatment
?? Working with R4 software
?? Monitor and maintain stock within the surgery as necessary, informing the head nurse or practice manager
?? Follow all dental ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentiality
?? Check that all necessary laboratory work is returned and ready for each session
?? Assist in all clerical and administrative duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
?? Trainee Dental Nurse- Must be on a course.
?? Be flexible with a positive work ethic
?? Must have good communication skills
?? Have excellent people skills
?? Have a friendly, approachable disposition with a 'can-do' attitude.
?? Be able to work well in a team, and use own initiative when needed
