We're currently hiring for an Administrator in the Buxton area to work a 6-month fixed term contract. You'll be working alongside two other team members in a friendly and helpful environment providing administrative support to the repairs and maintenance team. Working within the public sector, this job role would suit an individual with a positive, helpful attitude who can work well as part of a small team.
What's on offer?
* GBP10.21 per hour (GBP21,000 per annum)
* Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (37-40 hours per week)
* Immediate start
* Free onsite parking
What will you be doing as an Administrator?
* Providing administrative support to the repairs and maintenance team
* Dealing with incoming requests in writing, by phone or email from customers and stakeholders in a timely manner
* Supporting the Repair and Maintenance Team to ensure that repair work is programmed in an effective manner
* Carrying out such other duties relevant to the efficient and effective running of the service, this may vary from time to time
What do you need?
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 9-4 or A-C) or equivalent
* Previous experience working in a varied office based role preferred
* A working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office (particularly excel)
* Experience of delivering services that has the customer at the heart of all activities being delivered
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
