Employing more than 900 hardworking and dedicated people all working towards an ambitious strategic plan, we operate nationally spanning more than 60 sites including 13 manufacturing, processing and blending facilities across the Group.

As we grow organically and through acquisition, our Depot in Rhosfawr requires an enthusiastic and hardworking Depot Operative – Trade & Service to assist them in achieving this aim.

The Opportunity:

To assist the Depot management team your responsibilities will include:

  • Working in a retail sales environment processing cash and credit transactions as and when required

  • Identifying and maximising sales opportunities through high levels of customer service and knowledge of the products

  • Building customer relationships, dealing with product related queries in a timely manner

  • Providing excellent customer service for customers face-to-face or via telephone

  • Supporting colleagues with product knowledge and stock-related matters as part of promotional campaigns within the store

  • Providing a first class service in a friendly, courteous and professional manner


The Person:

The successful person will be:

  • Preferably have an agricultural background

  • Preferably hold a RAMA qualification, although we will look to provide training for the right candidate

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative

  • Be able to cope with a physically demanding role involving a substantial amount of manual handling

  • Professionally support customers’ needs

  • Willing to learn and take on new challenges as part of the role

  • Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
