Accounts Payable Team Member

Tell me more about the role - is this for me?

Here at Autoglass??, our Accounts Payable Team Members are responsible for accurate and timely processing of invoices, credits and expenses onto the Accounts Payable ledger, resolving disputes for internal and external customers and suppliers while maintaining a high level of customer service. You would be reconciling statements and also providing timely payments to suppliers by cheque, BACS or CHAPS.

It's really key that you have a commercial approach and can work with pace and pragmatism, playing your part in the team to deliver a great customer experience, ensuring that deadlines are met, payments made in a timely manner, highlighting potential supplier issues, processing any issues to the Accounts Payable manager when dealing with day to day tasks.

You'll be able to tell us about your experience working in an office, of busy team, ideally within a finance function or similar. Good processing and numeracy skills are important along with IT literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you have experience of working with Oracle, this will be a definite plus.

Based in our Head Office in Cardington, Bedford, the Accounts Payable Team Member is part of a busy Finance Team ensuring our suppliers receive prompt and efficeint payments. It is a demanding role but we are a great team who know how to have fun too! You'll often find us outside with barbecues in the summer, taking part in lots of charity fundraising activities such as tug-o-war and not forgetting our call centre is part of the Children in Need pledge that takes place each year.
