We are looking for a member of staff to start ASAP, to teach Maths GCSE. You will be working a 0.5 timetable, split over 3 days (2 full days and 1 half day), and be responsible for all planning and marking associated with a teaching role. For this reason, payment for this position will be based on the main teaching pay scale. The exact length of contract is difficult to determine, but you will be guaranteed work until October half term, with the likelihood of this lasting until Christmas and possibly beyond. Full or part time positions are possible for this position.
The setting itself is a large setting that caters for a large number of post-16 learners, being a specialist in the region for their excellent student care. There is a large onsite car park for those who do drive. It is easily accessible from all areas of Hull and the East Riding via public transport.
We are looking for a candidate that has experience teaching and delivering Mathematics to GCSE students, and a candidate who has experience catering for a range of different levels of learners is desirable. There are a wealth of resources available at the setting, so planning for this position is minimal, as you will have access to all of these resources from your first day. Applications from candidates who don't have a Maths specialist qualification, but have experience teaching Maths, is certainly desirable. Experience teaching or delivering functional skills Maths is desirable but by no means essential for this position.
Essential requirements:
Experience working with students aged 16-18

An up to date CV with a 10 year career history
