Berry Recruitment are looking for a Bar Supervisor for one of our clients based in Wellingborough.

The main purpose of this job is to assist the Bar Manager to provide and ensure the customer receives the highest quality of services. Being responsible for the efficient and smooth running of the bar for a variety of different functions, including weddings, alongside supervising a small team of staff and ensure they are fulfilling their duties to the best of their ability.

Responsible to: Bar Manager

Responsible for: Assist the Bar Manager in his duties.

Liaises with: The Bar Manager & F&B Team.

Day to day Duties:

Bar Areas

To ensure that all Front of House areas are clean and tidy at all times,
To ensure that incoming and outgoing telephone calls are handled promptly and courteously.
To carry out systematic checks of all Bar & Lounge areas for maintenance requirements, repairs or refurbishing, ensuring that these are actioned without delay.
To act as Fire Team Leader when required and ensure daily checks are completed.
To attend Management Meetings as required.
To circulate regularly throughout all Bar & Lounge areas, maintaining a high profile with guests and staff.General Responsibilities

Assist the Bar Manager of ordering and rotate the bar stock.
Maintain GP% profit as set by the Board.
Build a rapport with the members.
Locking up the building when working a late shift.
Keep up to date with the latest beverage trends and make recommendations.
Keep appraised of all forthcoming events and prepare accordingly.
Maintain the cellar and bottle store areas as directed including the weekly operation of line cleaning, coffee machine cleaning and glass washer and ice machine re-generation.
Manage cashing up at end of day.Pay is GBP10 per hour and based on a 40 hour week.
