CNC Setter / CNC Team Leader
The company
A well-established machine shop who specialises in precision engineering and manufacturing, supporting a range of specialist areas. Due to the introduction of 2 new shifts, the company are looking to add some CNC Setters to their team. The company are looking for 2 x team leaders, one to supervise the turning section and the other to supervise the milling section.
The role
A CNC Setter (Milling or Turning) is now required to join the team, with a variety of hours/shifts available to suit the successful applicants. Shifts available include a rotating Morning 6am-2pm (Monday-Friday), Afternoon 2pm-10pm (Monday-Friday)
You will take responsibility for:
Setting Machining Centres OR Lathes
Supervising a team, with 3 or 4 members of staff under you
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
A strong understanding of CNC setting
Able to change the offsets on the machine
Works on lathes or mills
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
Supervisory experience
