I have a great new opportunity for an experienced Automated Test Manager to join a successful global software company developing in-demand biometric software to an international audience. SCOPE OF POSITION
As the Automation QA Test Manager you will provide the technical direction for the build and assurance of a global platform through the build of an automated test framework using automated testing tools. In addition the role is to manage and create test plans, and lead a team of auto tester analysts to test in an agile delivery model.

You will be a strong personality, be confident in your own technical ability and have the drive and skill to influence decisions within the project to achieve the best possible result for the business.

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate current automation test frameworks, lead the strategy, structure and planning within the automation test team to achieve the end goal
Be hands on in the build and assurance of the automated testing tools (Selenium), manage its deployment and growth taking into account testing performance.
Lead a multi-site auto test team by providing delivery management to ensure objectives are on time and are of high quality. Report using measures/metrics.
Proven and demonstrable experience of designing, building and maturing automation frameworks from scratch, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) TDD/BDD.
In depth knowledge of software methodologies including Waterfall/V model, agile, lean, incremental.
Support the implementation of a continuous testing approach to ensure that we are actively reducing the cycle time in testing, eventually allowing for continuous deployments.
Work with product designers and developers at all stages to promote quality.
Produce test plans and ensure they are followed and adhere to project standards and requirements. Produce and prioritize bug reports.
Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.
Build and Execute test cases and document results.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Significant technical leadership and delivery experience in test automation.
Understanding of the agile software development process and life cycle
Demonstratable experience with Selenium, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Agile.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks while adapting to changing priorities.
