Registered Nurse ( RMN / RGN / RNLD ) - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse ( Adult Nurse - RGN, Mental Health Nurse - RMN or Learning Disability Nurse - RNLD ) to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive brand new specialist care home for adults with complex needs in Preston. This beautiful new home has 30 beds in total. They have a very positive and supportive work environment and are building a fantastic new team . This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a brilliant organisation but to also join a new team and a developing service. You will have the opportunity to influence and develop the service and their ways of working.

Location: Preston
Service Type: Specialist Care Home for adults with mental health conditions and neuro-disabilities
Salary: GBP17.80 per hour ( GBP33,321 - GBP44,428 per annum ) - negotiable depending on your experience
Hours : Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 24, 36, 42 or 48 hours per week)
Shifts: Options of Days only (8am - 8pm) or Nights only (8pm - 8am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference
Care Home Details: The specialist care come is a 30-bedded home split into three 10 bedded units. The home cares for complex conditions including Mental health and Neuro-disabilities.

The care home has a brand-new Home Manager who is very experienced in leadership and has an impressive RMN background. They are highly praised by the staff and CQC for the improvements in support to staff and culture change.

The care home now has a Clinical Advisor, who is an experienced RMN who invests their whole working week training colleagues to deal with the very high acuity service.

The Therapy rooms have been revamped and the care home are facilitated with de-escalation equipment, including state of the art VR experiences.

The care home offers stability and growth for people's careers and all care plans have now been reviewed and rewritten to ensure full safeguarding.

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Care Home offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where nurses can see clear pathways to progression within the Care Home. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. Nurses will receive ongoing support from your Manager. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the Care Home. There are no limits to training and development as the Care Home will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
