Learning Disability Manager-GBP32K- Norfolk

My client is currently looking for a Service Manager to oversee a small Learning Disability service based in Norfolk. This fantastic opportunity will allow you the chance to be an effective coach and mentor and allow your person-centred approach to lead your team to success and provide the highest level of care. The service is owned by one of the UK's leading learning disability care provider. They have a fantastic senior management team and are keen to appoint a Service Manager that can grow with the services and also the company. The company has an excellent reputation within the area and consistently strive to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their service users.

The role of Service Manager will include:
• Oversee the service
• Building strong relationships with a number of health professionals to ensure the need of the people they support are met in a responsive and effective manner.
• Develop open and trusting relationships with families, friends and circles of support
• Deliver effective risk assessments and emergency plans to ensure the people they support are safe
• Make sure your team are appropriately trained and motivated to provide high quality support.
• Ensure the services meet all organisational and statutory requirements and complies with CQC Guidelines and our own standards, policies and procedures.
• Make sure complaints are dealt with in line with their policies
• Able to support the organisation to grow the business.
• Develop local connections and partnerships to ensure the people we support are involved and engaged within their community

To be eligible for the Service Manager opportunity all we ask is you have the following:

• RMA/NVQ 4/NVQ Level 5
• A strong background in working with adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, autism and young adults
• Sound knowledge and understanding of CQC legislation
