Hales Group Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an HR Support to join our friendly, busy HR team, based in Thetford, Norfolk on a maternity cover contract. This role will be for a minimum term of 9 months. As a growing organisation, we have impressive plans for the future and to achieve these plans, we need effective people services and HR operations.

Our view is for an HR support to work within the team to deliver proactive HR support to the HR function and the wider organisation in the absence of our colleague on Maternity leave. It'll include general administrative duties, as well as employee relations casework e.g. sickness, disciplinary, capability, grievance, performance, redundancy and TUPE. They will also liaise closely with the Payroll department to ensure employees receive accruate and timely contractual pay and benefits, and assist managers with onboarding of new starters.

This is a truly hands-on role, offering variety, challenge and excitement and requiring hard work, excellent organisation, flexibility and the ability to multi-task. An ideal candidate for the HR Support position will have general administrative experience, in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, as well as the determination and enthusiasm to develop in an HR support role. As well as, strong attention to detail; the ability to multi-task and prioritise and be IT literate (MS Word and Excel are essential). A driving licence and own transport is desirable.
