Are you an experienced, mechanically biased Maintenance / Service Engineer and looking for a new role or a new career path into Field Service? Then we would like to hear from you as we are recruiting for an established manufacturing business.
Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer required for high volume metal packaging manufacturer.
Your role with be UK based, supporting sites in the UK, Ireland, and some of Europe, but 60% of your working week will be spent at a major client close to Rugby.
Working week will be Sunday to Thursday.
cGBP36k + Company Car.
Up to 7% company contributory pension.
25 days leave + Bank holidays
Training will be provided
Overview
We are looking for a mechanically biased multi skilled Maintenance Engineer or experienced multi skilled Field Service Engineer to join a successful metal packaging company. This global business has consistent workload and have increased orders in the past 12 months.
Successful applicants for this Field Service Engineer role must have:
Experience in the packaging or food / drink manufacturing industry
Be a qualified engineer, mechanical or electrical.
Capable of working on mechanical and electrical installations and commissioning projects.
Thorough knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, fitting and turning.
Key day to day duties
Installation, overhaul and commissions of packaging machines.
Offering customer advice on probable solutions to machinery issues.
Conducting regular inspection of machinery and products to ensure that quality and efficiency expectations are achieved.
Support and conduct trials and projects involving all aspects of technical advancement
Generating a monthly report of all engineering, trials or quality issues activities carried out.
