My client has Permanent vacancies in and around Greater Manchester, Cheshire & West Yorkshire.
An established Social Housing Contractor seek to appoint a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis. They specialise in social housing refurbishments, both internal and external, to Social Housing properties throughout the region. They have recently been awarded new contracts which include kitchen and bathroom replacements and fire door replacements.
Reporting to Contracts Managers, your duties will be:
• Requisition of materials
• Managing subcontractors
• Issuing sub-contractor short term programmes
• Holding regular progress meetings
• Updating the construction programme
• Managing trades/labour on site
• Checking the quality of all plant on site
• Managing H&S on site
• Attending monthly cost meetings
• Client liaison
The successful candidate must have:
• Time Served Tradesmen
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
• A stable and progressive career history with experience in planned maintenance
