Junior Receptionist
A Hotel that offers quality, affordable and modern accommodation providing a great base for exploring the West Cumbrian coastline or the Western Lake District is looking for some enthusiastic staff to assist their small team of Receptionists.
Primary Purpose of the Job
The receptionist staff are the face of the hotel, they welcome all guests to the hotel and ensure high levels of customer care are given. The junior receptionist will assist them with the following tasks:
Manage enquiries and monitor reservations
Respond to guest enquiries and requests within the hotel
Liaise with all other departments to ensure we deliver an effective service to our guests
Provide general support to the duty receptionist
Personal qualities:
Good telephone manner, confident when speaking to guests
Friendly and welcoming attitude
Ability to deal with customers in a professional, calm and considerate manner
A good level of Maths and English is required and confidence when using computerised systems would be an advantage, but full training will be given on the hotel reservations system.
Hours:
20 per week, a mix of mornings, evenings and weekends.
8am - 12.00 and 5pm - 9pm with some occasional weekend working.
