Simarco Worldwide Ltd is one of the UK's leading logistics and freight companies. We operate worldwide and can offer a full range of services in the UK, across Europe and Internationally across all trade routes.
We now have a vacancy in our Stoke on Trent office for a Part time Credit Controller to provide a high level of support within the Accounts Department. to cover maternity leave. This position will be offered on tha basis of 4 full days per week on a 12 month contract
Main duties:
* Chase money from customers from a section of the Aged Debtors Ledger.
* investigate any queries and resolve asap by communicating with the customer, the admin department and the operational staff where required.
* Assist in other areas of accounts, send statements to customers and allocate payments where required.
* Team work with other credit control staff in Stoke and Witham offices.
Experience / Skills required:
* Accounts experience
* Credit Control experience
* Good communication skills
* Data input skills, attention to detail, accurate & methodical
* Competent using Excel
Salary / Hours
Starting salary c GBP15,600 depending on level of experience
This position will be offered on a 12 month maternity cover contract.
4 days per week.
Hours of work will be (Apply online only) (including 1 hour for lunch, unpaid)
