Our client, a leading technology company, based in Basingstoke, is currently hiring for a Bid Manager to support the company in providing efficient, well directed and winning proposals and bid responses.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the sales team in evaluating and qualifying tender opportunities
  • Supporting the development of a winning bid strategy in line with the clients requirements and the competition
  • Ensuring the timely progression of bid responses - coordinate, manage and motivate bid teams as well as liaising with subject matter experts across the company
  • Compiling and producing high quality, creative bid responses
  • Assisting the sales team in general with their responses
  • Producing compelling presentation materials as and when appropriate

Requirements

  • Experience in creating bids and writing commercial proposals preferably within construction or public sector but this is not essential
  • Experience operating within a commercial sales cycle preferably within the IT industry would again be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent written communication skills, ability to articulate written communications that are grammatically correct
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to manage key stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask on multiple bids

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.
