Job Description
Field Service Engineer
Permanent Staff | Field based between Dublin and Waterford network (M4, M6, M9). The successful candidates will be covering sites in the Republic of Ireland and occasionally the UK and Scandinavia.

The Role
My client is seeking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to assist in the delivery of the following activities across our equipment range, on-site technical assistance, root cause analysis, preventative maintenance, calibration, installation assistance, thermal validation, and training to the high standards.
The role will require extensive travel including staying away from home, the principal area of work will be within the Ireland but there will be requirements for travel to the U.K and occasionally travel to Scandinavia and Italy as required.
Responsibilities:
Ability to act as an on-site technical interface between the suppliers and clients.
To provide technical assistance, preventative maintenance, and calibration to a consistent high standard.
To provide fault rectification and root cause analysis on equipment supplied.
Provide installation, commissioning and IQ/OQ support for new equipment and special projects.
Provide thermal validation services on our clients' sites
Participate in Design Qualification
Respond to requests for service within SLA or company targets, restoring the client equipment to operational level as required
The Candidate
1. Must have field service experience
2. Have excellent Mechanical & Electrical engineering skills
3. An engineering qualification (HNC/D or apprenticeship)
4. Must hold a clean driving license
5. Hold a valid passport for travel within Europe
The following requirements would be a distinct advantage:
1. Degree or equivalent Engineering Qualification
2. Previous Sterilisation Experience (Large Porous Load)
3. Previous Water Treatment Experience
4. Previous Process Steam Experience
5. Knowledge of European Standards
6. Enthusiasm to Learn and be Challenged
7. GDP / GMP Knowledge and Experience
The Package
The salary offered for this position is ???35,00- ???55,000 pa to a candidate that can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
