Role: Financial Transformation Manager

Location: Heathrow/ Remote Working

Contract Length: 3-6 months INSIDE IR35

As the Finance Transformation Manager, your key priority will be to manage the effective delivery and execution of a number of key finance projects. The initial focus will be on various Finance Transformation projects, e.g. IFRS 16 transition and documentation, roll-out of PP&E standard processes, development of HBI/ HB II reporting, etc. However, there is a requirement to remain flexible to take on new and on-going key projects arising within finance as required by the Finance Director or Group Head of Accounting.#

You will be actively driving implementation of new processes and accounting tasks including continuous monitoring / tracking of the status in close, regular and pro-active alignment with Governance & Control function (Hub Europe and Headquarters)
Drive harmonization of accounting processes / SAP processes with IFRS accounting service provider and Governance & Control function (Hub Europe and Headquarters)
Strong on finance processes, understanding the links between activities (accounting, controlling, business) and ensure smooth accounting / closing processes incl. identification of process improvement potentials / necessary remedial measures
Pick up new technical accounting requirements based on IFRS and UK GAAP, performing impact analysis and assessing change requirements as well as required resources to deliver; drive the implementation.
Must be strong on finance processes, understanding the links between activities, to enable changed activity to be embedded and ensure the transition to operations is smooth; Identify critical accounting topics according to IFRS to be discussed with Governance & Control function; similar for UK-GAAP with local tax advisor;
Ensure adherence to Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and local law (e.g. UK-GAAP)What you need to make real what matters.

You will be recognised as providing an excellent service by internal customers, be financially astute and have the drive to progress and succeed.
Ideally Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA) or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience in a managerial finance role
With the ability to work autonomously, you will have hands on knowledge of Finance processes and a clear picture of clean books and records.
Sound knowledge and experience in IFRS and project accounting, especially IFRS 15
Excellent financial modelling skills as well as business and data analysis skills
A proven track record of successfully implementing high profile strategic projects, managing multiple projects/deadlines and multitasking with ease
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate/ influence/ negotiate easily and effectively across stakeholders from team members to executive management
You have a positive, collaborative and engaging approach to reliably working with colleagues
