Regional Property Manager

Requirements

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Property Manager to join our in house commercial Property team, based in Elland, West Yorkshire. You will support the Property Manager(s) in the provision of a full property and asset management service by providing professional, knowledgeable and innovative property solutions in conjunction with a team of internally employed professionals and external service providers. This is a great opportunity to develop and progress within an experienced team of professionals who manage a diverse and extensive commercial property portfolio across UK & Ireland. This role is a mobile role that will require travel across the portfolio.

What you'll be doing as an Regional Property Manager:

Assist in the provision of a full property and asset management service including Rent Reviews, Lease Negotiations, Dilapidation Negotiations, Surplus Property Management/Disposals and Dispute Resolution.
Assist in the provision of advice and recommendations regarding existing and future portfolio decisions.
Assist in the delivery of an effective property strategy and resulting action plans/programs in line with the business's needs.
Demonstrate ability to monitor budgets for rent, rates, service charge and insurance.
Demonstrate ability to identify and share best practice, particularly from within the sector.
Create and manage a network of contacts within Saint-Gobain and with commercial property and other professional service providers.
Promote communication and collaboration within the team.
Attend and actively participate in all related meetings, providing updates and feedback on property and activity.
Responsible for your own portfolio of properties.What we're looking for in an Regional Property Manager:

2.1 Degree or equivalent level qualification in relevant field.
Experience of commercial property management and property asset management.
Knowledge of property management, Landlord and Tenant practices, laws, rules and regulations.
Awareness of issues affecting property occupiers including legislation, taxation, finance and government policy.
Strong communicator at all levels, confident at liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
Commercially aware, conscious of the importance of property related decisions within Saint-Gobain.
Practical experience of negotiating with a focus on deriving business advantage from property transactions.
Ability to take ownership and responsibility for delegated tasks and projects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team as needed
