We are working with an electronics manufacturer who are based in Witham to recruit a Test Engineer into their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience within in a specialised industry
Duties:
Testing, repair, and fault finding of electrical and electro-mechanical system, sub-assemblies, and PCB's.
Problem solving ability and fault find to component level
Participate in route cause analysis and take corrective action
Provision of support services for the company's products. This may include emergency and routine maintenance visits to customer's sites and the installation of the company's products.
Participation in testing and acceptance tests as required
Help with Customer demonstrations and training as required
Generation of relevant test specifications, circuits, equipment, and aids
Carry out specialist calibration work
Completion and maintenance of work records in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System (AS9100)
Ensure the correct and timely closure of jobs
Provide support to the Development Department as required
Experience required:
The role would suit a candidate from an electronics background with a degree or college certificate in electronic engineering (C&G, HNC, HND, apprenticeship or similar) with an interest in electronics
The individual must be well motivated and capable of working as part of a team both in the UK and liaise with our Head Office internationally via electronic means
The successful candidate must be hard working and motivated with a pro-active nature towards their work and the ability to think outside of the box and problem solve
Benefits:
09:00-17:00, Monday Friday, flexibility available
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising one day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days
Statutory pension, increased voluntary contributions available
