I have a superb opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Technician to work for a large Environmental Risk Reduction company based in Manchester.
About the role:
We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Multi-skilled Technician to join the Civils team based in Manchester.
Reporting to the Group Civils Manager, the successful candidate will undertake duties associated with that of all operations, all aspects of ground works, Underground Tanks Installations, concrete finishing, remedial works, confined space works and all other service lines from within the company from emergency response operations and planned industrial services works.
This entails a variety of services including high pressure water jetting, clean-up of spills. This will entail anything of an emergency response nature, in a variety of environments, amongst various other services offered from the depot.
The postholder is required to operate any Company vehicles / equipment for which they are suitably qualified to undertake and adhere to all HSE requirements as per Adler and Allan guidelines.
Working on a full time basis, in addition, there will be a requirement to satisfy overtime requirements which may include weekends and evenings.
The post will require a degree of flexibility around hours, and in addition you may be required to work away from home (Hotel provided).Requirements:
Excellent knowledge and experience of completing RAMS documentation.
Previous experience of operating in a similar role / environment highly advantageous.
A willingness to work in an environment of change, dealing with emergency works essential.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Willingness to be flexible and deliver excellent customer care.
Possessing NRSWA advantageous.
Professional, self-motivated and reliable.
Must possess full UK driving licence, ideally with HGV / ADRSalary:
GBP26,000 working Monday- Friday 8am-4pm, some weekend work required and overtime is paid at time and a half & double time, plus an extensive benefits package plus all workwear PPE provided.
